That route is plausible because the Q2 record covers commercial discovery, knowledge work, infrastructure, and mobility. It is not yet demonstrated as one integrated system. The evidence does not show shared identity, permissions, context, governance, or handoffs across these products, and it does not show that AI activity in one business improves an outcome in another.
Dependencies and Counterargument
The route depends on product integration, permission and governance controls, repeated use, regulatory permission to operate, and a durable economic link between AI features and customer value. Mobility adds a higher bar: safe operation, accountability, local authorization, and a service model customers will choose. Advertising and information access add a different bar: AI must improve discovery without weakening user trust or the commercial incentives that fund the service.
The strongest alternative explanation is that Baidu's results describe several separate AI businesses: cloud demand, feature adoption in existing products, marketing services, and a robotaxi operation. If those products do not share a useful context and authority model, then their coexistence is portfolio breadth, not a coherent route to delegated action.
